Louis Di Rosa comes from a politically active family that goes back many generations in New Orleans, Louisiana. Louis got his education from the University of New Orleans.

Currently, Louis is working in New Orleans as an attorney who specializes in torts, class actions and federal criminal cases. In addition to his law practice, Louis also serves as an adjunct professor of criminal justice at the college level and teaches civics and American history to high school level students.

Louis Dirosa jr has also spent many hours devoted to the public sector having worked for a number of years as an Assistant City Attorney in the New Orleans Municipal and Traffic Courts, and as an attorney for the Louisiana Legislative Bureau, a division of the Louisiana State Senate.

Although Louis has lived in other cities, including Boston, he has always called New Orleans home.
